Uran Elected Head of Slovenian Bishops' Conference

Ljubljana, 16 March - Slovenian bishops elected on Friday Ljubljana Archbishop and Metropolitan Alojz Uran as the head of Slovenian Bishops' Conference. Uran thanked the bishops for the show of confidence and said he would strive for expanded cooperation, not only among the bishops and dioceses in Slovenia, but also with the Holy See and other Bishops' Conferences in Europe.
