Ljubljana, 19 March - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 20 March:

KOPER/IZOLA - Prime Minster Janez Jansa and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel are to make stops in Koper and Izola ahead of the government's working visit to Slovenian Istria and Karst on Wednesday. Jansa and Rupel are expected to hold talks with representatives of the Italian minority at 4 PM.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Agriculture Minister Iztok Jarc is taking part in the second day of a meeting of EU agriculture ministers.

SOFIA, Bulgaria - Slovenian Higher Education, Science and technology Minister Jure Zupan is to sign an agreement on scientific and technological cooperation with Daniel Vulchev, Bulgaria's education and science minister.

ZAGREB, Croatia - The EU - Croatia Joint Parliamentary Committee will be in session. The committee's vice-chairman, Slovenian MEP Borut Pahor, is expected to meet Croatian President Stipe Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader.

ROME, Italy - A delegation of the parliamentary Commission for Slovenians Abroad is to begin a two-day visit to the Italian Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Italian parliament.

MILAN, Italy - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to attend an international conference entitled "Transport and Environment: A Global Challenge - Technological and Policy Solutions".

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - A delegation of the parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee is to start a two-day visit to Slovakia.

LJUBLJANA - Former European Commission president Jacques Santer is to pay a visit to Slovenia. His agenda includes a lecture on the state of the EU at noon.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS), Slovenia's largest union association, is to present at 10 AM its position on the recent assessment of the Slovenian economy by a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

LJUBLJANA - Representatives of the Ministry of Labour, the Family, and Social Affairs are to speak to the press about the activities envisaged as part of the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All strategy; at 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Public Agency for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investment (JAPTI) is to outline at 10 AM its future activities and financial plan.

LJUBLJANA - A debate on renewable energy sources and new opportunities for Slovenian companies, organised by the Slovenian-German Chamber of Commerce, is to get underway at 9 AM.

ODRANCI - Plans for a factory for the manufacture of campers by German manufacturer Carthago are to be presented to the press at 10 AM.

BLED - The annual European Standing Conference of History Teachers' Associations is to get underway at 10 AM. The event, which will look at human rights in the history curriculum, will be attended by Education Minister Milan Zver. A news conference is scheduled for 1:30 PM.
