Tests Confirm Eighth Case of Mad Cow Disease

Ljubljana, 2 April - The tests carried out at the National Veterinary Institute confirmed a new case of mad cow disease in Slovenia, Slovenian Veterinary Administration (VURS) told the press on Monday. The seven-year-old cow from Celje region slaughtered last week was the eighth case of Bovine Spongiform Encephatolopathy (BSE) found in Slovenia.
