Luka Koper Plans to Build Three Piers With 25M-Tonne Capacity

Maribor/Athens, 24 April - Luka Koper, the operator of Slovenia's single commercial port, is planning to increase the annual transshipment to 25 million tonnes, including 700,000 cars, once it extends the existing two port piers and builds a new one. Luka Koper chairman Robert Casar told Tuesday's edition of daily Vecer that the extension of the first pier was to be completed by the end of the year.
