Ombudsman Bizjak Formally Succeeds to Council for Human Rights and Freedoms Protection

Ljubljana, 9 January - Three months after Ivo Bizjak had been elected the first Slovene Ombudsman and three weeks after his deputies (Jernej Rovšek, France Jamnik and Aleš Butala) had been elected, the new institution formally replaced the former similar organization, the Council for Human Rights and Freedoms Protection.
