Opposition MP Elected Head of APC Inquiry Commission

Ljubljana, 24 April - Opposition Social Democrats (SD) lawmaker Milan M. Cvikl was elected on Tuesday head of the parliamentary inquiry commission that is to look into the disputed arms tender on the recent purchase of 135 armoured personnel carriers (APC) by the Defence Ministry. A secret ballot on the appointment of a deputy speaker of parliament from the opposition was meanwhile postponed.
