Valvasor Award Goes to Archaeologist Irena Savel

Ljubljana, 17 May - Archaeologist Irena Savel won the Valvasor lifetime achievement award, conferred by the Slovenian Museum Association on Thursday, a day before International Museum Day. Savel received the award for her work at the Provincial Museum in Murska Sobota. She was a pioneer in museum research in the northeastern-most Pomurje region.
