Slovenian Press on Relations Between Slovenia and Croatia

Today the Slovenian press again devoted much attention to relations between Slovenia and Croatia, which were aggravated when Croatia began construction works on the disputed border-crossing facility near Sečovlje. Talks held yesterday between Lojze Peterle, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, and Davorin Rudolf, Chairman of the State Commission for Borders of the Republic of Croatia, temporarily smoothed over the border dispute, and Croatia halted the construction works.
