Maribor Nominated for 2012 European Culture Capital
Ljubljana/Maribor, 31 May - The Slovenian government on Thursday nominated Maribor for European Capital of Culture in 2012. The Culture Ministry will refer the nomination to the relevant EU institutions, the Government Communication Office said.
