Kranjec Says He Will Defend Central Bank's Independence

Ljubljana, 29 June - Marko Kranjec, the new governor of Slovenia's central bank, reiterated for Friday's edition of daily Finance that he was in favour of the state's withdrawal from major Slovenian banks. He added that he would not tolerate any attempts to meddle with Banka Slovenije's independence.
