IMAD Raises Inflation Forecast for 2007, 2008

Ljubljana, 4 July - The government's macroeconomic think-tank has raised the inflation forecast for 2007 and 2008, mainly as a result of food prices. IMAD projects year-on-year inflation will be at 3.2% this year, up from 2.5% in its spring forecast, while the projection for 2008 has been raised from 2.5% to 2.6%.
