Economist Calls for Action on Inflation

Ljubljana, 5 July - Economist Dusan Mramor believes the high inflation, which stood at 3.6% in June, is a result of inappropriate oversight of the non-tradeable sector and high economic growth. "If there are no serious measures ... competitiveness will suffer, economic growth will slow down and unemployment will increase," he told Thursday's Delo.
