First Round of Selection for 2002 Winter Olympics Monday

Slovenia, together with Italy and Austria, is one of the nine candidates for the organization of the 2002 Winter Olympics. For the first time in the history of the Olympic Games the selection of the games' host will be carried out in two rounds. The first round will be carried out next Monday in Lausanne.
