Markes to Become New Chief Editor at Delo despite Opposition

Ljubljana, 6 July - The journalists of Slovenia's leading broadsheet have voted down the proposal by the management to install Janez Markes as the new chief editor. Delo chairman Danilo Slivnik said the editor-in-chief of weekly Mag would be appointed to the post despite the vote, which is not binding for the management.
