Constitutional Court Rejects Church's Claim for Bled Island

Ljubljana/Bled, 6 July - The Constitutional Court has upheld the ruling of the Supreme Court preventing the return of one of Slovenia's best know landmarks to the Roman Catholic Church in Slovenia as part of denationalisation proceedings. The ruling, published on Friday, means that the island on lake Bled will not be returned to the Church in kind and will remain state-owned.
