Trade Union Steps up Wage Demands

Novo Mesto, 6 July - The head of Slovenia's biggest trade union has issued a warning that the failure of talks on wage increases would result in a general strike. Dusan Semolic of the Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) said the negotiators had until the autumn to make progress in wage talks or else a massive strike would be called.
