Commission Chair Rejects Demand To Debate Rop's Claims

Ljubljana, 20 July - The parliamentary human rights commission will for now not discuss claims that Prime Minister Janez Jansa was involved in the plotting of border incidents with Croatia prior to the 2004 general election. Chair Majda Potrata said that the call for an emergency session, demanded by the ruling Slovenian Democrats (SDS), was unfounded, a reason the SDS rejects.
