Number of Slovenian Municipalities Oppose GMOs
Ljubljana, 24 July - A number of Slovenian municipalities have endorsed an initiative to establish areas free of genetically modified organisms (GMO). While 26 local communities already signed a declaration to that purpose, another 20 will discuss it soon, the Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD) said on Tuesday.
