Thaler Candidate for Foreign Minister, Deželak Candidate for Minister of Economy

Ljubljana, 23 January - GOVERNMENT/MINISTERS
Zoran Thaler, a member of the Liberal Democracy of Slovenia (LDS) and President of the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, is Premier Drnovšek's candidate for the post of the new foreign minister. The candidate for the new minister of economic relations and development is Janko Deželak, a member of the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) and President of the Agency for Rehabilitation of Banks. Davorin Kračun, current Minister of Economic Relations and Development, offered his resignation.
