New York, 31 July - US President George W. Bush has put forward Vincent Obsitnik, a Virginia businessman of Slovak descent, for a new US ambassador to Slovenia. If Obsitnik is endorsed by the Senate in September, he will succeed in office the incumbent Thomas Robertson.
