Minister Says Inflation Brought No Serious Difficulties

Ljubljana, 17 August - Although inflation in Slovenia in July surpassed the Maastricht criteria, the country is not experiencing serious difficulties, Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk said on Friday. "The causes for exceeding the criteria do not lie in fiscal policy," said Bajuk, adding that Slovenia was "on the right track".
