Selling Pressures Drag Down Indices

Ljubljana, 18 August - Slovenian blue chips were hit by a bout of strong selling this week, dragging the main market SBI 20 index 478.36 points (4.01%) lower to 11,459.71. The biggest drop of the week came on Friday, a day after the Dutch ABN Amro bank issued short certificates that allowed investors to make a profit when the shares of pharma company Krka and telco Telekom Slovenije are losing value.
