Slovene President Kučan at Commemorations of 50th Anniversary of Auschwitz Liberation

Ljubljana, 25 January - AUSCHWITZ/COMMEMORATION/SLOVENIA
President of the Republic of Slovenia Milan Kučan will attend commemorations on 26 and 27 January of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland. President Kučan will be accompanied by an official delegation and representatives of internees of this death camp. President of Slovenia will take part in the meeting with winners of Nobel price for peace and leaders of national delegations, and attend the memorial session of the senate of the University of Jagielon in Krakow on Thursday. On Friday he will attend commemorations at the concentration camp in Oswiecim and Brzezinka.
