Goriska Brda Becomes European Capital of Poetry Yet Again
Ljubljana/Dobrovo, 21 August - The village of Medana in the western region of Goriska Brda will again become the European capital of poetry as the 11th Days of Wine and Poetry, an annual literary festival, kicks off on Wednesday, 22 August. The preliminary poetry readings in several Slovenian towns will, however, be launched already today.
