Gorenje's Sales up 30%, Profit Almost Flat

Velenje, 23 August - Gorenje, the Velenje-based maker of household appliances, reported a 30% rise in half-yearly revenues, to EUR 620.46m. The group's net profit edged 3.7% higher to EUR 6.5m, which represents 28.2% of the plans for the period, the company said on Thursday.
