FM Doubts Croatia Will Implement Ecological Zone as Planned

Bled, 27 August - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel doubts that Croatia will insist on enacting its ecological and fisheries zone in the Adriatic for EU member states on 1 January. "I believe that the date of possible implementation is pushed to 1 January so that elections [in Croatia] are over and that something changes in the meantime," he said on Monday.
