Merkur Retail Chain Ups Revenues, Profits in First Six Months

Naklo, 30 August - The Merkur group, headed by hardware retail chain Merkur, generated EUR 545m in sales revenues in the first six months of 2007, up 26% over the same period last year. The group's net profit meanwhile rose by 33% to EUR 7.59m, the company said on Thursday.
