Minister Says Raw Materials to Blame for Food Price Hikes

Ljubljana, 7 September - The Agriculture Ministry believes that food price hikes are primarily influenced by increase in prices of key raw materials on global markets. "I believe that it should be acknowledged, however, that the costs of agriculture inputs represent a minor share in retail food prices," Agriculture Minister Iztok Jarc told the press on Friday.
