Daily Says US Withdrew Candidate for Ambassador to Slovenia
Ljubljana, 8 September - Daily Dnevnik reports on Saturday that the White House withdrew the appointment of Vincent Obsitnik, a businessman of Slovakian descent, as the US ambassador to Slovenia. Obsitnik is to be posted to Slovakia instead, the daily was told by the US embassy on Friday.
