Slovenians Generated 865,620 Tonnes of Municipal Waste in 2006
Ljubljana, 8 September - A total of 865,620 tonnes of municipal waste was generated by Slovenians in 2006, a 2.4% increase over 2005, according to data from the national Statistics Office. The number means that a Slovenian on average generated 1.18 kilograms of waste a day last year.
