Slovenia's Suicide Rate Among Highest in the World

Ljubljana, 10 September - Slovenia, recording between 25 and 30 suicides per 100,000 citizens yearly in the 1997-2005 period, is among the countries with the highest suicide rate in the world, according to data published by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in the run-up to 10 September, World Suicide Prevention Day.
