EU Close to Deal on Schengen Regime for Croatians

Brussels, 14 September - Slovenia, Hungary and Italy have reportedly reached an agreement with Croatia on a system that would allow Croatian citizens to cross the Schengen border with ID cards only, STA learnt from well-placed EU sources on Friday. The matter is expected to be on the agenda of a meeting of EU interior ministers on Tuesday.
