Slovenia Joins Global Nuclear Power Initiative

Vienna, 16 September - Slovenia has joined the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP), an initiative launched by the US in 2006 in a bid to promote nuclear power as an energy solution. Economy Minister Andrej Vizjak signed a statement of principle in Vienna on Sunday, the ministry told STA.
