Koper Mayor Acquitted of Abuse of Office, All Other Charges

Koper, 17 September - Koper Mayor Boris Popovic, his wife Eva Popovic and sister Laura Ban were acquitted of all charges by the Koper District Court on Monday. The three defendants were accused of abuse of office and unlawfully pocketing EUR 188,600 during the time when Popovic was still an entrepreneur.
