National Council Wants Referendum on Insurance Act

Ljubljana, 18 September - The National Council on Tuesday adopted a request for a referendum on amendments to the act on the ownership transformation of insurance companies, arguing that the government-sponsored changes would exclude some 750,000 people out of the privatisation of market leader Zavarovalnica Triglav.
