WWII Hospital Believed to Be Destroyed by Floods
Cerkno, 18 September - The world-famous Franja WWII hospital, a national monument shortlisted for UNESCO status, is believed to be badly damaged by floods after heavy rains hit Slovenia on Tuesday. According to reports, debris from the wooden hospital has been swept into the valley below.
