Vecer Says Freak Weather Calls for Better Planning

Maribor, 20 September - The daily Vecer believes that storms such as the one that hit large swathes of Slovenia on Tuesday should not be dismissed as "there's nothing we can do about it". This is just as dangerous as saying that the only solution is to completely regulate all rivers and streams, the paper writes on Thursday.
