FM Opens New Embassy in Washington

Washington, 28 September - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel will on Friday open a renovated building that will host the Slovenian Embassy and the ambassador's residence. The three-floor building in Washington's diplomatic quarters was constructed in the 1960s and used to host the Yugoslav embassy. Slovenia has been allotted it under a succession agreement between former Yugoslav countries.
