Night Passes Off Calmly, No Relief Yet for Flooded Areas

Železniki/Cerkno, 27 September - Despite fears to the contrary, fresh rain has not caused any new difficulties or flooding in the parts of Slovenia that were devastated by torrential waters last week. Nevertheless, the northwestern town of Zelezniki, which was hit hardest, remains on the alert with new precipitations forecast for Thursday evening and the night to Friday.
