Bishops Decide to Invite Pope to Slovenia in Spring of 2009
Novo Mesto, 28 September - Slovenian bishops decided on Thursday in Novo mesto to invite Pope Benedict XVI to Slovenia in the spring of 2009. The pope's visit would thus come at the second anniversary of the second visit by his predecessor John Paul II and the tenth anniversary of the first church synod in Slovenia.
