Ljubljana, 29 September - Slovenian government responded in the aftermath of mid-September's disastrous floods by allocating funds for the people and companies in the worst-hit areas. The floods in Slovenia were also pointed out by Prime Minister Janez Jansa as he took part in the UN General Assembly, accompanied by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel. Trade unions meanwhile threatened to take to the streets if wages do not get adjusted to consumer prices and productivity.
