Dnevnik: Istria Fears Losses this Tourist Season

Today's edition of the Dnevnik writes that workers in the Istrian tourist industry are very dissatisfied with developments concerning the construction of the disputed border checkpoint near Sečovlje. In particular, they are poorly satisfied with the performance of Dr. Davorin Rudolf as leader of the Croatian delegation in the negotiations with Slovenia, as they believe that he reacted too slowly to warning signs. This, in the opinion of the Istrian tourist industry, has damaged his bargaining power in Slovenia and has seriously threatened tourism in Istria.
