jubljana, 28 May (STA) - Ivo Bizjak, Slovenian Minister of Internal Affairs, one of the first speakers at the Second Conference on European Drug Channels which opened yesterday in Rome, stressed the importance of international cooperation in fighting the international drug trade. The conference in Rome is attended by representatives from more than 40 countries and also by United Nations representatives.***

The head of the Department of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mitja Klavora, will also, together with his Italian counterpart, sign a protocol on the exchange of computer-processed information on the illegal drug trade along the "Balkan Route" and in the Mediterranean region.
