Petition against State Pressure on Media Challenged

Ljubljana, 1 October - A number of journalists and editors at several Slovenian media houses published on Monday a statement entitled "Ethical Call for Professionalism", expressing their disagreement with the petition against media censorship signed last week by about 500 Slovenian journalists. The statement questions both the wording of the petition and the relevance of its signatories.
