Krsko Nuclear Power Plant Launches Overhaul This Weekend

Krško, 4 October - The Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK) will launch on Saturday the regular month-long overhaul. In the last fuel cycle, which started after the last overhaul on 14 May last year and is to end with the Saturday's outage, NEK continuously operated for a record 510 days, producing 8.3 terawatt hours of electricity, 2% more than planned.
