Stocks Down after Istrabenz Takeover Bid

Ljubljana, 10 October - Most blue chips closed lower on Wednesday, as Petrol's lower-than-expected takeover bid for conglomerate Istrabenz disappointed investors. The benchmark SBI 20 shed 90.18 points to 11,902.95 as a result of a 9% drop of Istrabenz, with the blue chip SBI TOP index down 19.21 points to 2,589.38.
