Pahor and Janša express condolences on Berlusconi's death

Former President Borut Pahor and opposition leader Janez Janša expressed condolences on the death of Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian prime minister who died today. Pahor said the two of them had become good friends despite their different political views, and Janša stressed Berlusconi had always been Slovenia's friend.

Slovenia to support fishermen in dispute against Croatia at Human Rights Court

Slovenia will intervene in a lawsuit filed at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg by Slovenian fishermen who have been receiving fines from Croatia for fishing in the Piran Bay, where the border has been set by the 2017 border arbitration decision, Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon announced on Monday.

Slovenia constructive player in international arena, PM says

Slovenia is once again being recognised as a constructive player in the international arena, Prime Minister Robert Golob said on Monday, as he addressed the press alongside President Nataša Pirc Musar and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon less than a week after the country won a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for 2024-2025.
