Ministers Says EU Must Strengthen Disaster Response
Luxembourg, 15 October - EU foreign ministers agreed on Monday that the EU must enhance its response to disasters such as this year's fire in Greece and the severe storm in Slovenia. "We told the European Commission to draft a plan of response to natural disasters," Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said on the margins of the General Affairs and External Relations Council meeting.
