Central Banker Says Protectionism Cause for Inflation

Ljubljana, 18 October - Central bank governor Marko Kranjec has suggested for weekly Demokracija that Slovenia's high inflation should in part be attributed to the state's protectionist attitude towards what he calls home champions. Kranjec also cautioned against workers' demands for higher wages.
