Slovenia Expected to Implement Financial Services Directive

Ljubljana, 29 October - As the Markets in Financial Services Directive (MiFID) is to enter into force in the EU on Thursday, the European Commission said on Monday it expected from Slovenia to enforce the directive together with associated executive regulations as soon as possible. Slovenia has transfered the directive into its legislation but has not yet implemented executive regulations.
